Here's To A Boring Year

Too much excitement just might kill me!

Meat and veggies

Our kitchen appliances get installed yesterday! Which meant I could cook at home for the first time in 2 weeks.

Hooray!

The kitchen isn’t finished yet so I’m going to hold off on posting photos (it will be another couple of weeks) but it is now semi-functional, which is super exciting! And it looks totally amazing. It has been a pain in the butt, and totally worth it.

I say semi-functional because we’re still waiting for the cabinet guy to come back and install our handles. Cupboards and drawers are no use without handles – which means everything is still in boxes in the back room.

Which totally messed up my cooking mojo. I’m out of practice as it is, and running back and forth to get utensils just made it worse.

Nevertheless I managed to produce this:

Lamb cutlets with potato gems and veggies – Hubs’ favourite kind of meal. And I got to use both the oven and the stove. Yippee!

Mmmmm! Congratulations on having a semi-functional kitchen. Can’t wait to see what you can do with HANDLES!
