Here's To A Boring Year

Too much excitement just might kill me!

About

I’m a crunchy, geeky Aussie mum to one little miracle Monkey, conceived spontaneously after a failed IVF, born at home, diagnosed with cancer 2 days before his first birthday and now in remission only 3 months later.

While Monkey was having chemotherapy, I was retrenched from my part-time job as a computer programmer, so I’m filling nap times with blogging instead.

Hoping the interwebs can provide some much needed adult interaction so please don’t be shy! (Desperate much??)

After all that excitement, I really hope nothing of significance happens for a while…

So here’s to a boring year!

I think a boring year is exactly what the universe owes you.

And NED (is that what you Aussies say, too? no evidence of disease?) forever and ever.

I have read only two things you’ve written so far, and I have to say that I think I love you too.
    Is this moving too fast?

      *snort*

      I’m flattered!

Although depending which two things you’ve read, I may also be a little worried…

You basically had me at “Aussie”. Who doesn’t love Australian people?

How come I can’t figure out how to send you a private message? I am good at a lot of things, I promise. Computer shit is not in my skill set.

I dunno. I might have just sent you an email, but I had to use the browser version to find it.
